Starlight is proud to be the home of SingOut Musical Theatre for Bay Area Children and Young Adults, a national award winning musical theatre company producing plays and musicals with children ages 4-18.

Our Teen company will be working on two large projects throughout the year: a JR-length musical which will be performed in its entirety and broken down into a 12-minute competitive ensemble cut and an individual piece for competition. When committing to Teen Competition Team, you are committing to the entire year and all performances and competition regardless of the roles received. Our Teen Competition Team will audition and rehearse to compete in The Musical Theatre Competitions of America each February. After the competition, cast members will use what they learned in workshops and from professional feedback in a performance for family and friends. Auditions are held each year in the fall.
