JOIN US FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON

AUGUST 4th - 7th

GENERAL AUDITIONS are open EVERYONE who is interested in joining JR. Competition Team (5th- 8th grade), JR Theatre Company (6th - 8th grade), Teen Competition Team (9th - 12th grade) or Teen Theatre Company (9th - 12th grade).  Please click the links below to familiarize yourself with the company and make sure you understand the scope of the commitment.  This is a very serious pre-professional program, our students are held to a high standard and we work very hard.  If you are ready to make that level of commitment we would love to see your audition!

Where: 

Starlight Performing Arts Center's Temporary Location in Downtown Pleasant Hill

15 Crescent Drive Pleasant Hill *We will be moving to our new permanent location two blocks away over the Fall

What to prepare: 

1 min song (MUST BE FROM A MUSICAL, MUST BRING KARAOKE TRACK WITH YOU ON A DEVICE) 

AND 

A 1 min monologue *No swear words or violence please

What to Wear: 

Dress nice, doesn't need to be fancy but please go at least one step up from crocs/leggings/flip flops/ripped jeans

What to Bring: 

• Your device with your accompaniment music. 

• A headshot (any photo of your face is fine, does not need to be a formal headshot) 

• A resume

When to Arrive?: 

At least 10 minutes BEFORE your audition
