Make-up classes
If you miss a class you are more than welcome to attend a different class in the same age group the following week, just please make sure you inform the teacher that you are coming.
tuition and late fees
All tuition is due in full at registration in order to ensure a space is reserved for you in that class or camp.
no Refunds
Our classes and camps are all nun-refundable.
photo release policy
Students of Starlight and/or SingOut may be photographed or video taped while at the studio or at studio events. By participating in any of of programs you are consenting to allow Starlight and/or SingOut and/or it’s photographers to use your image in advertisements, websites, social media or in publication. No financial compensation shall be given for use of any photographs or videos. Once you registerer into classes, you are acknowledging that Starlight/SingOut may choose to use your photo or video at any time, and may do so at its own discretion at a later date. Upon your registration, you agree that you have read this release and understand its contents and you consent to and authorize the use by Starlight, or anyone authorized by Starlight, of any and all photographs or videos which have been taken of your child/children.
Dismissal
Starlight reserves the right to dismiss a student from the school at any time at the discretion of owner
liability release
All students and parents of minor students entering the program, upon registration, are releasing Starlight Studios, it’s owner, staff, SingOut, and the owners of the Virginia Hills shopping center from all liability for injury, death, or loss of personal property.
medical information
All students and parents of minor students entering the program are responsible for notifying the staff of any medical or physical condition that may effect the student’s ability to safely perform the activities expected in a class.
arriving on time
If a student is late it is up to the teacher’s discretion to allow them to participate. Students who miss the warm up may be asked not to dance if the teacher decides it is not safe to do so.
parents in the classroom
Parents are asked not to enter or interrupt a class during class times. Please wait outside or feel free to take a break! We will take good care of your children. If you have any questions during class time please direct them to the front desk.
performing
Performing is a privilege. Teachers reserve the right to bench a student for missing too many rehearsals or for poor behavior.
food and drinks
Only water is permitted in the classroom. All other food or drinks must be securely stored inside a bag or lunchbox. Please make sure all food or snacks are 100% peanut-free.
social media
You are WELCOME to take pictures or video of your child at our studio and post them on social media! Please tag us, we want to see them too! We are proud that your family is a part of our community! Please make sure that if any other child is pictured you have that parent’s permission or you have blurred out that child’s face.
