Kids Theatre (Ages 8-14)

Starlight’s Kids Theatre performers will play our ensemble roles in Beauty and the Beast in the Fall and the main roles in Sleeping Beauty in the Winter and Alice In Wonderland in the Spring.

What to wear to rehearsals: Black jazz shoes and comfortable clothes they can move in (no jeans). Hair pulled up out of face. Please pack a water bottle. (Jazz shoes can be purchased through us on site, or through any dance wear store or on Amazon)

What to wear to Dress rehearsal and performances: We will provide the majority of your costumes.

Boys: please wear black jazz shoes, a tank top or tee and black shorts or pants *more details will be provided on the first day of class

Girls: please wear black jazz shoes, a black spaghetti strapped leotard and black shorts, hair in a tight, clean ponytail. *more details will be provided on the first day of class

FALL SHOW: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (OCT - DEC)

Kids rehearse and perform as the Ensemble in our fabulous production of Beauty and the Beast!

BIG NOTE: Those who are familiar with our program from years past are used to the SPRING show being the one where the Kids theatre are in the ensemble and the big kids from our advanced programs play the leads. This year it is the Fall Show (Beauty and the Beast) where the kids theatre play the ensemble instead! If you are hoping to play a bigger role and are between 6th and 8th grade, audition for JT instead!

It is our intention that we make the move in early January but of course we only have so much power over a construction project.
