In our 25 years here in the East Bay Area (first Walnut Creek, then Martinez and Pleasant Hill) Starlight Performing Arts Center is a name you can trust, building a deep rooted community that is focused on so much more than any one art form. We believe that young artists need safe spaces to grow, thrive, and reach their potential while still being allowed to be kids along the way. Kids should feel great about what they see in the mirror, no matter their body type, as they focus on building strength and confidence. Whether you want to dance for fun or professionally, train your voice or be in a full scale musical, we have a place for you. We carefully choose our music, themes and costumes to showcase our performers in healthy, age appropriate ways. With classes from 18 months through adults we have something for everyone. With a tiered stepping stone style program that includes RECREATIONAL STYLE CLASSES AND SHOWS (sign up and everyone gets to participate) all the way through COMPETITION TEAMS and PRE-PROFESSIONAL TRAINING and LARGE SCALE MUSICALS. We have opportunities to put on more than a dozen performances a year, perform in parades, county fairs, Warriors games, local carnivals and events and even go to Disneyland! OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Starlight Studios is an ALL INCLUSIVE SPACE where children and adults of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities, and special needs, can feel safe and welcome. We believe that everyone should feel empowered and beautiful when they dance, that children should never have to wear bikinis on stage, and that music can be age appropriate and fun.

JOIN US AT 15 CRESCENT DRIVE for all classes this FALL!

Starlight has officially moved out of our original studio space on Alhambra Ave in Martinez. While our new Performing Arts Center is still under construction, our amazing landlords have set us up at 15 Crescent Drive in Downtown Pleasant Hill .

Our staff has worked incredibly hard to turn this temporary space into a performer’s dream! With even more space then our original studio, 15 Crescent has three full time dance studios/rehearsal rooms and a cushy indoor lobby. Both of our dance studios are outfitted with Marley floors and mirrors and our third rehearsal room has a full stage! We will start our Fall Season at this space and then hopefully be ready to move over to our new home later this Fall!!
