We’re Hiring!

Starlight Performing Arts Center, located in Downtown Pleasant Hill, is expanding! We are looking for experienced Dance Teachers, specifically teachers who have experience teaching acro/tumbling, cheer, hip hop, and jazz. You don't have to have experience with all the dance types listed, but must be acro/tumbling certified or have equivalent years of teaching/training. Bonus points if you are also aerial certified and/or have experience teaching aerial, specifically silks or lyra! Ideally you are comfortable teaching beginners through advanced.

Ideal Schedule (but please still apply if you aren't available for all times/there will be future opportunities for different schedules):

• 5:45-9:00 PM Wednesday

• 4:00-8:15 PM Thursday (Most immediately needed!)

• 3:30-6:00 PM Friday

Compensation: $30 per 45 minute class.

Please respond with the following:

• Your availability (Days and Times)

• List of all types of dance/cheer/acro/aerial/circus you are trained in and/or have taught (and what level you are trained in or can teach for each)

• Any relevant certifications

Starlight Performing Arts Center is an ALL INCLUSIVE SPACE where children and adults of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities, and special needs, can feel safe and welcome. We believe that everyone should feel empowered and beautiful when they dance, that children should never have to wear bikinis on stage, and that music can be age appropriate and fun. Please note that the address given is our temporary studio location. We are currently in the process of building out a new performing arts center and our eventual permanent location will also be in Downtown Pleasant Hill (just down the street from 15 Crescent).
