Our Interns are one of the best parts of our program. High school students volunteer their time to be leaders for the younger classes. They choreograph dance numbers, block scenes, lead games, help with costumes and sets, lead warm ups and present positive role models for our kids to look up to. *Must be currently enrolled in Teen Comp or Teen Theatre

Now accepting applications for JR Interns! A Junior intern is a 6th/7th/8th grader currently enrolled in JT or JR Comp who can commit to all the rehearsals and performances for a class of Kids and Minis. You train to become an intern and help run games, help with costumes and lead choreography.

Intern Jobs

Assistant Director

You help the director put the show together. Block several of the scenes and help run the rehearsals. During performances you are the house manager.

Assistant Choreographer

You help the choreographer teach the dances. Choreograph several of the sons and learn the dances to demonstrate them in front. During the performances you run the lights.

Assistant Vocal Director

You help the musical director teach the harmonies and lead the groups. Lead vocal warm ups each day. During rehearsals and performances you run the music.

Stage Manager

You are the boss of the cast. You take role, keep everyone on schedule, track and list every set change/prop/costume and tell everyone where they need to be and when.

SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR

You take photos and videos constantly, posting valuable content to our social media pages throughout the rehearsal process and helping to advertise upcoming shows and events.

Set Design/Backstage Stage Manager

You are in charge of sets and props, painting or designing them, maintaining the prop table and managing the set changes. During the show you are the boss of the set changes.

Games Director

You’re the fun one! Plan and lead the games, lead shake outs and boost morale. You play with minis a lot and when you aren’t busy you are jumping in helping one of the other interns. During the show you help with Minis.

Minis DIRECTOR!

You play with minis! Help them get from one group to the next, make friends with them, look out for them and teach them the songs and dances (with the help of the Asst. Director and Asst. Choreographer and Asst. Vocal Director ). During the show you help with Minis.

Costumer

You are the boss of the costumes. You do not need to know how to sew but it is your job to pick out what needs to be ordered on Amazon and to sort costumes and be in charge of who wears what. During the show you help backstage.
