PHOTO DAY(S) April 18th - 19th

Photo day is quickly approaching! Here’s everything you need to know!!

When: (Scroll down for exact Schedule)

  • Saturday April 18th for almost everyone

  • Sunday April 19th for Dance Team students

Where: at Starlight (the same place you have been taking class)

The Price:

  • $120 Recital Fee per class includes photos (2 individual photos per costume, 1-2 group photos per routine) and costumes and awards at Recital.

  • We understand that for out families in 5+ classes these numbers can feel high. so we are trying something different this year… wherever possible we have cut the price down as much as possible, giving many of our older classes the option to purchase much less pricy Amazon options instead or in some cases even just pulling from things you have at home. Hopefully this will make your life a little bit easier. Please scroll down for details and exact links to purchase costumes for big kids classes.

  • DANCE TEAM STUDENTS: You will recieve photos for all of the routines but you will not be charged an additional fee for photos of any dance team routines or solos/duets/trios

  • Full stage makeup required

  • False lashes: optional but encouraged

  • Recreational Students : Slicked-back ponytail

We are trying to simplify the day for you. This is a long day and we move as fast as we can. you can help us stay on time by showing up fully ready and knowing exactly what solo poses you want to do. If our dancers can help us by moving swiftly we will get you all out of there quickly and do our best to stay on schedule! Thank you!

OUR MISSION STATEMENT 

Starlight Studios is an ALL INCLUSIVE SPACE where children and adults of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities, and special needs, can feel safe and welcome.  We believe that everyone should feel empowered and beautiful when they dance, that children should never have to wear bikinis on stage, and that music can be age appropriate and fun.

JOIN US AT 15 CRESCENT DRIVE for all classes this FALL!

Starlight has officially moved out of our original studio space on Alhambra Ave in Martinez. While our new Performing Arts Center is still under construction, our amazing landlords have set us up at 15 Crescent Drive in Downtown Pleasant Hill .

Our staff has worked incredibly hard to turn this temporary space into a performer’s dream! With even more space then our original studio, 15 Crescent has three full time dance studios/rehearsal rooms and a cushy indoor lobby. Both of our dance studios are outfitted with Marley floors and mirrors and our third rehearsal room has a full stage! We will start our Fall Season at this space and then hopefully be ready to move over to our new home later this Fall!!
