Congratulations to our new dance teams! Thank you all for making these decisions so hard! We had a wonderful time with all of you at auditions! Thank you all for having the courage to perform with us. We had an overwhelmingly large turnout and in the interest of maintaining safe, small, groups, we were unable to cast everyone who auditioned. If you were not cast this year, please know that we still love you! Keep training and we will look forward to seeing your auditions next year!

WHAT IS DANCE TEAM?

Dance team members will rehearse for 1.5 hours per week each week, learning and refining several flashy dance numbers to be performed again and again throughout the year, giving students as many opportunities as possible to build skill, technique and confidence. It is our hope that these students will feed into a new dance competition team the following year. We plan to have several teams so please do not be discouraged if you are a beginner, as we will have teams for beginners and advanced students. Each student will receive a team uniform, rhinestoned jacket and sparkly costumes! Teams will rehearse from October through June and will perform from December through July. Team members will be charged a monthly tuition (scholarships available) and charged a one time fee to cover costumes and uniforms. Entrance fees to performance events will occasionally incur extra costs but we try to keep these as low as possible. We are working to make this as affordable as possible for our families and we will have more exact details available soon. Please note, all our dance team members are required to be enrolled in at least one Starlight or SingOut class at the studio. If you are not yet registered for a class please take some time to pick out your favorite now.
