Starlight is proud to be the home of SingOut Musical Theatre for Bay Area Children and Young Adults, a national award winning musical theatre company producing plays and musicals with children ages 4-18.

Teen Theatre is an audition only a school-year-long program. Auditions are held each fall. Our Teen company will be working on three large projects throughout the year: a full-length musical, a 12-minute competitive musical revue and an individual piece for competition. When committing to Teen Theatre, you are committing to the entire year and both productions and competition regardless of the roles received.
Our full-length production this year will be Freaky Friday the Musical. Our Teen Theatre Company will rehearse a musical revue to compete in The Musical Theatre Competitions of America each February. They will also choose to develop one of the following for individual competition: a vocal solo, a vocal duet, a monologue, a dance solo, a set design, a costume design or a makeup design.
