Starlight is proud to be the home of SingOut Musical Theatre for Bay Area Children and Young Adults, a national award winning musical theatre company producing plays and musicals with children ages 4-18.

Our Jr Competition Team will audition and rehearse to compete in a Jr. Theatre Festival West in Sacramento each February. After the competition, cast members will use what they learned in workshops and from professional feedback in a performance for family and friends. When committing to Jr Competition Team, you are committing to travel as well as the final performance. Auditions are held each year in the fall.
Rehearsals
Mondays 4:00 - 6:00 August 30th - March 13th
No Class: 9/6, 10/11, 11/22, 12/20, 12/27, 1/17, 2/21
Special Mandatory Rehearsals:
Mon January 24th Mandatory rehearsal, 4-6pm
Sun 1/22 2-5pm
Mon 1/31 Mandatory Rehearsal, 4-6pm
Mon March 14 Mandatory Final Dress rehearsal, 4-6 pm
Mandatory Parent Meetings (Student and at least one parent must attend)
