Please note, the total cost is an estimation based on numbers from previous years. These fees cover the MTCA entry fees, flights, hotel for MTCA, a solo/duet fee for MTCA, competition shirt, most meals, transportation to MTCA, Knotts Berry Farm Ticket and entry fees to the two local comps. If the total is significantly more than the estimate you will be presented an invoice to cover the difference (totaling no more than $200). If the total is significantly less than estimated, you will be refunded the difference after the final payment. Additional solos, photo packages etc will be separate.

  • Includes: MTCA individual registration fees, group registration fees, 1 solo duet etc, local comp group registration fee, all staff costs and fees, comp tee shirt, rehearsal room rental, lunch Friday, lunch Saturday, snacks, incidentals

  • Does not include flights or hotels

  • Big change this year: Parents bring their own kids or coordinate with a friend or chaperone to come down in a group, come when you like, leave when you like, stay in whatever hotel you like, eat the food you like. 

  • Optional add Disney on your own and make a family vacation

  • We will give you specific times to drop your child off and pick your child up. This will include mandatory attendance Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning 

• • Want to be able to chaperone? Great! The more the merrier! You can stay all day and come to all the activities.

All competing students are required to have and wear a team jacket to all competitions.

Please note, dance team and theatre teams all wear the same jacket and it is the same as last year so you do not need to buy a new one if you already have one.

JT is not required to have a jacket but you are welcome to.

All jacket orders will be delivered to students before the first competition

OUR MISSION STATEMENT 

Starlight Studios is an ALL INCLUSIVE SPACE where children and adults of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, abilities, and special needs, can feel safe and welcome.  We believe that everyone should feel empowered and beautiful when they dance, that children should never have to wear bikinis on stage, and that music can be age appropriate and fun.

JOIN US AT 15 CRESCENT DRIVE for all classes this FALL!

Starlight has officially moved out of our original studio space on Alhambra Ave in Martinez. While our new Performing Arts Center is still under construction, our amazing landlords have set us up at 15 Crescent Drive in Downtown Pleasant Hill .

Our staff has worked incredibly hard to turn this temporary space into a performer’s dream! With even more space then our original studio, 15 Crescent has three full time dance studios/rehearsal rooms and a cushy indoor lobby. Both of our dance studios are outfitted with Marley floors and mirrors and our third rehearsal room has a full stage! We will start our Fall Season at this space and then hopefully be ready to move over to our new home later this Fall!!
